12 DIY Jewelry Storage Hacks
Few things are more difficult than trying to untangle a clump of necklaces, or more frustrating than when you want to wear a pair of earrings and can’t find one of them. While pretty and sparkly and arguably a necessary fashion component, managing all of your jewelry can be a pain. But don’t be fooled by all the over priced “jewelry organizers” you’ll find in the stores--there are so many ways you can DIY some way cuter, more practical, and more affordable ways to store your jewelry. Want to know how to keep necklaces from tangling, how about a DIY jewelry tree? Check out these super cute jewelry storage solutions.
1. Go Dahn To The River And Find Some Driftwood
Tie some string around the ends, screw in some hooks (if the driftwood is soft enough you won’t even need any tools to do this!), and spruce it up with some paint! View the demo here.
2. Use An Old Picture Frame And Some Chicken Wire, Lace, or Fabric
These are as simple to make as they are functional. Grab an old picture frame, a staple gun, and some mesh, chicken wire, or lace. Staple the material of your choice so it’s taught to the back of the frame, and voila!
3. Reuse Some Old Glass Bottles
We love this idea! It’s cute, retro, and the only thing you have to do is drink a coke and rinse out a bottle!
4. Happen To Have Some Antlers You Don’t Know What To Do With? Hang Necklaces On Them!
If you don’t keep antlers handy in your craft box though, you can buy ceramic ones here.
